Christmas Tree Recycling

East Anglia’s Children’s Hospice is being supported again this year; they will be collecting real Christmas trees for recycling on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th January. To check availability and book your slot visit:

Register Tree (just-helping.org.uk)

Donations received from the Christmas tree collection provide vital funds for your hospice and other local charities. Real trees can be placed by the side of the garden bin on collection day.  If the tree is bigger than the bin, please ensure it is chopped in half. The Household Recycling Centres will also take Christmas trees.

November 2020 News:
Following a clear out of The Splash by the Parish Council, we would like to give a big 'thank-you!' to all the volunteers who have helped. The white posts have been repainted, one post that had become dislodged has been rescued and repositioned and also the area has been cleared of litter. What a fantastic job!

Household Recycling Centres (HRC) across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough will remain open to residents during the lockdown. A booking system for vehicles and trailers requiring e-permits at all sites, and for all vehicles at Alconbury, Bluntisham, Milton, St Neots and Thriplow, also remains in place.
