Holt Island Nature Reserve is open on weekends and bank holidays from Easter until October. At other times keys are available from the Norris Museum and One Leisure. It is located behind All Saints Church on The Waits, a short walk from the bus station.

St Ives Library (next to Waitrose on Station Road) has accessible parking, baby facilites and wheelchair access. A Library Van visits the village and stops by the Axe and Compass pub in the village centre, opposite Village Hall, 11.05am - 11.20am. Tuesdays (monthly).
